- Place unwrapped cake in the freezer, until it is “set”. This will usually take five hours.
- Remove any plastic cake plate from the bottom of the cake & return the plate to the baker.
- Once the cake is firm, wrap it in plastic, then foil & repeat. It should have at least two layers of plastic. It is also a good idea to place it in a plastic airtight container.
- To thaw, place your cake in the refrigerator at least over night, so it can thaw out slowly.
